Martin Paving was particularly proud to be involved in laying the groundwork for Florida’s newest university, Florida Polytechnic, in Lakeland, FL. We performed all the necessary clearing and de-watering activities for the sprawling new campus, as well as all the necessary excavation and concrete pad work to prepare the site for the construction of its planned ultra-modern buildings. We installed the underground utilities and installed all the necessary access roads. In addition, we have installed sod in the perimeter swells around the project.

In our clearing process we recycled all of the trees.

Installing the lift station was especially challenging on old reclaimed phosphate grounds. The overall depth of the lift station was 25′ deep which required us to sheet piled our hole, install ductile piles down to hard rock and pour a concrete pad on top of the pilings in order to set in the lift station.
